OQO, Thy Come to Me

Okay I have now contradicted myself. I bit the gun, or dust, or however that phrase goes and bought myself an OQO. It was such a low price for a used one that I could just not pass it off. I got the unit for $850 and a whole bunch of accessories for $200 totalling of $1050 including shipping.

The unit itself has paint chipped paint on the battery and a fixed WWAN antenna so it’s not perfectly straight. The cosmetics don’t bother me as long as it works. I also got a mesh cable bag, belt clip case, double capacity battery, Wacom cross pen, and a stand from the site BuildYourUMPC.com.

I’m taking a risk by buying from a forum member but I’ll take that chance.

Now I know that I said UMPC’s are not right for me as they are overpriced and slow but I would really like something that is portable and can run all the necessary applications. It would have to be able o be a PMP to and I figure I would have but something like that after I purchased my tablet. Also I have funds coming in that would allow me to purchase both. And as I said before, this was a steal and I just couldn’t let this deal go by.
