UMPC Choices Pt.5

After going through all the possibilities I could pick for a UMPC I have finally decided on… none of them.

The UMPC’s available on the market are expensive with costs ranging around the $1000 mark for something decent. I normally wouldn’t mind paying that much for a cool device but with my purchase I need it to do everything my laptop does and more. I need something that I can use for school as well as entertainment.

I will be taking a look into tablet PC’s as they seem to fit my needs. It will give me a single place for all my work and notes as well as giving the necessary power to play games, watch movies, and take notes for school.

I would like to say that I have high hopes for the UMPC market but I am afraid that will not be the case. UMPC’s never caught on even though they had a lot of potential, I believe it was the lack of marketing effort but who am I to judge, I am just a consumer.
